Events are held at the Mary Cotton Hall next to St. John's Church, High Road, Buckhurst Hill IG9 5RX, on the second Tuesday in the month at 7.30pm in the summer, and on the second Wednesday in the month at 2.30pm in the winter, unless otherwise stated.

Tuesday 14 April 7.30pm: 'A Life in Ruins - My Life in Archaeology' - Speaker Les Capon

Tuesday 12 May 7.30pm: AGM followed by 'An underground Guide to Literary London' - Speaker Nick Dobson

Wednesday 17 June 12 noon: Annual Lunch at The Bald-faced Stag (Toby Carvery).

Tuesday 14 July 7.30pm: 'I do like to be beside the seaside' - Speaker Janet Seward

Wednesday 9 September 2.30pm: 'The sometimes secret history of an English prison' - Speaker Lindsay Whitehouse

Wednesday 11 November 2.30pm: 'Apollo 11 - the Way to the Moon' - Speaker Andy Strange

There is normally a charge of £3 for all events at the Church; this includes Refreshments.

Non-members are welcome at all events.
