At the Parish Council's Parish Assembly on Thursday, 14th May 2015 the Council and representatives from Buckhurst Hill Residents' Society presented a cheque for £1,001 to Megan Bailey, Essex Community Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society.

The money was raised jointly between the Parish Council and the Society at the Christmas Fair held in Queens Road on 5th December 2014.
